I hope this doesn't seem too superficial: comparing a t-shirt design to a 20th Century tragedy - I do know which one matters more. But I was talking to a lovely customer just now about the 'BOO!' design, having just heard on the radio about ceremonies to mark the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre. And it struck me that, though 'BOO!' is a bit of fun that my son and I designed together one day, its story is the core of so many of our world's most appalling wars, injustices and atrocities. We all think we're the human and the other side the monster, and fear of the different or the unknown has terrible and divisive effects. Sadly, we don't always find the way to the final scene.

NO MORE BLOGGINGI stopped writing this blog a while ago - social media just seems a more responsive way to share ideas these days (plus I never got 'round to it!). I'll leave these posts up for now for anyone who wants to get a bit more of a sense of what's behind what I do. Archives
